Why Meditation Teachers Learn From Kelvin Chin

Kelvin Chin is not just another meditation teacher. He is a “teacher of teachers” — teachers of other meditation techniques from around the world seek his guidance on meditation.

Why?

Because Kelvin has been teaching meditation for over 50 years and many of their teachers have died, and very few teachers in the world have as much experience as Kelvin both with:

  1. teaching others how to meditate — he has taught over 5,000 people in over 70 countries, and

  2. experiencing their own personal journeys of “turning within,” with truly Knowing Oneself — Kelvin has been meditating since 1970, his past life memories reach back 8,000 years over two dozen lifetimes, and he has communicated spontaneously with the Other Side since 1986.

Kelvin takes an inclusive view of helping others, including teachers of other meditation techniques. They do not have to adopt his teaching methods. He helps them become better teachers of meditation regardless of their approach by explaining to them how and why he teaches Turning Within Meditation the way he does. And why he changed the teaching of his technique from the original technique he learned and taught in the 1970s, Transcendental Meditation, when he was an international leader in Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s organization. (See his TM Meditation History.)

So, taking a gentle yet instructive approach to coaching other meditation teachers who may reach out to him from around the world, Kelvin imparts his perspective on meditation and shares ideas on how those teachers might shift and improve the quality of their meditation teaching, and how meditation can be much easier and effortless than the way most are teaching.

While it is not a requirement for them to reach out to Kelvin for guidance, many of these teachers have chosen to learn his Turning Within Meditation technique to further their own personal self-development.
